Jorge Hales De La Fuente

Specialist lawyer with more than 20 years of experience devoted exclusively to handling highly complex tax matters, tax planning, and tax defense in both administrative and judicial proceedings.

He has served as a member attorney of the Hon. Santiago Court of Appeals, receiving an outstanding evaluation, and has also acted as an arbitrator in commercial and maritime matters since 2023.

He holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law from Universidad de Chile and an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Liverpool, England.

Among his academic activities, he served as Professor of Tax Law at Universidad Andrés Bello and has participated as a guest lecturer in various master’s and postgraduate programs, including Universidad de Talca’s Master’s in Tax Management and Planning and the Diploma in Taxation of Financial Instruments taught by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
