Felipe Valdés Correa studied law at Universidad de los Andes and qualified as a lawyer in Chile in 2003. He later completed an LL.M. at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia (2006–2007), a diploma in Corporate Taxation at Universidad de los Andes (2009), and a Master’s degree in Tax Management and Administration at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2014–2015).

From 2002 to 2006, Felipe worked as an associate at Chadwick y Aldunate. Before joining Estudio Valdés & Cía., he practiced at Estudio Guzmán from 2007 to 2016.

He advises individuals and businesses on tax and corporate matters, with particular emphasis on tax optimization, corporate reorganizations, family wealth restructuring, and corporate governance; tax advisory and controversy matters; tax audits and administrative proceedings before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service; international taxation; estates and gifts; proceedings before the Treasury and municipalities; mergers and acquisitions; and general corporate matters.
